CRAIG JONES NAMED COACH OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to United Coach
Craig Jones on being named 2006 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Coach of the Year. Jones, in his fourth year as Head Coach of the Hanover College Men's soccer Team, guided the Panthers to a third place conference finish and an appearance in the HCAC tournament.

United Soccer Leagues announced today the final selections for the Super Y-League's ODP National Camps to be held at the Cocoa Expo Center in Cocoa, Florida in January and February of 2007.

Recently United Girls Coaching Director Jan Franson had the opportunity to meet and talk with fellow Norwegian and Canadian National Team Coach Even Pellerud. The Canadians were in town to play Purdue University. |

U17 National Team Goalkeeper Corey Whisenhunt will play for the United U20 Super Y League Team this summer.
In addition to his national team and Super Y experience, Corey plays for the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy in Columbus, Ohio. |

United Director Muhamed Fazlagic has been invited to be part of the Region II ODP (Olympic Development Program) Coaching Staff. Muhamed will be working with ' 92, '93, and '94 boys groups in camps this summer.
Region II ODP includes Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota , North Dakota , Wisconsin , Missouri , Michigan . Nebraska, Ohio North, Ohio South, and South Dakota.
This is a well-deserved honor - congratulations Muhamed!
